Lingyun Chen, a Shanghai-based Matchbox toys collector in China, established the first-ever online bulletin board service for Chinese miniature collectors in 2006.  The “52mbx” simply imitates the Chinese pronunciation of “I Love Matchbox Toys”.  Lingyun also programmed the unique Chinese-English bilingual search engine on Matchbox.  More than 1,250 toys are recorded with nearly 3,000 hi-res pictures.  Today, 52mbx is an informational blog to cover Lingyun’s own Matchbox toys and serves as a hub among all Chinese Matchbox toys collectors over the world.  The site became sole China-based community supporter of the Model Car Hall of Fame (MCHOF) in 2017.
